# Maintenance Policy

Operational policy for the NMD-VCell public resource. External ownership fields
remain explicit submission blockers until confirmed by the authors/institution.

- Resource name: NMD-VCell.
- Public URL: https://nmd-vcell.sema3c.chatgpt.site/resource/.
- DOI archive: DOI_PENDING.
- Minimum maintenance target: five years under the same URL after publication.
- Update cadence: at least one versioned review per year, plus critical data-integrity corrections.
- Versioning: semantic resource tags and dated release bundles.
- Preservation: every public release retains immutable manifests and SHA-256 checksums; the submitted release will be mirrored in a DOI archive.
- Deprecation: withdrawn or superseded files remain named in the changelog and manifest rather than silently replaced.
- Incident target: acknowledge critical integrity reports within 10 working days and publish a correction plan within 30 days.
- Contact and issue tracker: CONTACT_PENDING / ISSUE_TRACKER_PENDING.

This file is intentionally explicit about pending external commitments. It must
be finalized before NAR submission.
